I was looking at the new way to do reports with Platform Analytics and looked into this functionality:
Remove extra details from the PDF report export
With the even newer UI, I don't see a means to leverage this functionality. I know there is a system wide setting for this. glide.pdf_export_from_form_list.show_report_attrs, but it seems as time progresses, we are losing the ability to use this feature on a per report basis.
Is there any expectation that this functionality will be maintained or is the only option to make an instance wide decision to either keep the setting on, or turn it off?

You are correct. In the newer Platform Analytics and Next Experience UI, the per-report control for removing extra details in PDF exports seems to be less visible or no longer exposed the same way it was in classic reporting.
At present, the system property glide.pdf_export_from_form_list.show_report_attrs appears to be the primary supported approach, which makes it more of an instance-level decision rather than a report-specific configuration.
It would definitely be helpful if ServiceNow reintroduced a per-report option in future releases, especially for organizations that need different export behaviors for different audiences or compliance requirements.

Hopefully they reconsider the current direction and maintain the per report functionality.
