For the owner of the dashboard unable to edit the widgets in the dashboard

Hello All,

I have give made a requester name "XYZ" as owner of the dashboard name "ABC" . He is able to get pencil icon to edit widgets(widgets with indicators and indicator source) , when he click on it to edit all the fields of the widgets are read only but not editable. Please suggest for this issue solution.

Also he is unable to edit reports in the dashboard. And the sharing access of the reports has been done as below ,

Please help me to find the solution for the above query.

HI,

you should be owner of that widget to edit it. 

When you share a report with someone you cant edit that report. You need role like report admin or admin or you should be the owner of that report and widget.

Hi Pushpa,

             Have you check the ACL's Associated to the fields which are used in Indicator/ Indicator Source?

that might be the reason,

User you share dashboard with should have roles like pa_power_user and report_admin to be able to edit widgets or reports. Also they should be in the same domain if you have domains.

I am also facing the same issue, the user is having pa_power_user and he is the owner of the dashboard,but he cannot able to edit the dashboard,the edit icon is not visible to him.

How to resolve this issue.
