Formula Indicator - Target not showing in list widget

Dear PA experts,

I'm struggling to show a target for a formula indicator part of a list widget: 

• The color coding is not working
• The target is not showing up

Here is the setup of the widget:

I think the issue is with the time serie of the target, but I can't select By Month SUM in the above form (see Indicator - Target Settings). It's limited to this list of time series:

How can I sort it out ?

Hi,

The issue is indeed that your target is not linked to the By monthly AVG + timeseries, and is linked to the default timeseries aggregation. Not sure why you don't have this aggregation in the list. One thing you can try is to create target from Analytics Hub once you selected the right aggregation there instead of doing it manually in the table.

Thanks for your proposal. However, it did not help. 

I could setup a "monthly" target from Analytics Hub, but the result is the same:

• the record created behind the scene is exactly the same as the one I created in the related list of the indicator (see screenshot) 
• the color coding and the targets are still not showing in the list widget.

Any other idea ?

The time aggregation would need to be exactly matched "By monthly AVG +" for it to work. Are you able to see this aggregation in Analytics Hub but once you create target on it it is not populated for you in the list? Or you don't see it there too? If you don't see it in Analytics Hub too, maybe this timeseries is excluded somewhere (timeseries exclusion tab on indicator record). I don't see it configured for you on the formula itself, but maybe on some of the indicators that used as elements of the formula.

Another thing maybe to check if the difference in target record configuration between this indicator and others where you do wee target shown correctly.

Hi Olga,

To answer your question, I'm not able to see "By month AVG+" in the list, neither in the backend nor in Perf Analytics. It's not excluded, but I think it's filtered out from the Time Series dropdown of the target. There I can see this filter:

I tried to force it by adding the value in the XML, but it doesn't help to show the color coding nor the target in the dashboard.

The difference is definitely the time serie. However, I presume there is a way to show formula indicator with targets somehow. 

Would you have any other idea ?
