Group By Month on a pivot table

Is it possible to group by month line May 201 June 2017........and is it possible to have grid lines to show - thank you

I think, you should try "Trend" chart which will give you flexibility to group data in year/month/week/day etc.. please find below reference screenshot :

I would line to see number like in the pivot, do you know how to do that

I think, using pivot chart you can't show trend by month. So trend chart is the best solution for trend requirement.

Also you can see the numbers in trend chart also, as you can see in the screenshot.
