how do you go back to previous drill down view in a nested drill down view?

i have a report drill down as below. it is nested till 3 different drill down levels. users want to to go back to the previous view from level 3 to level 2 instead of reloading the whole dashboard. how can we do this?

Is there a back button on the top left corner of the dashboard?

What happens if you click the back button on the browser?

there is no back button and the browser back doesnt work

There should be a refresh widget button on each widgets along with widget description. Using refresh widget, users can reload just the widget instead the whole dashboard. However, there isn't a way to get back to the previous drilldown as I know of (example: 3rd drilldown to 2nd drilldown)

If you right click within the report graph or list itself and click "back" it will navigate you to the previous report screen... If you click the back button in the browser bar, it will reset your report completely.
