How do you use "bucket groups" in a report?

I got a request for a user to have the ability to use specific time based bucket groups in a report. Is that possible as the documentation seems to only mentioned it could be used in scripts?

BTW side note, I don't even see an option for creating them under Performance Analytics> Breakdowns> Bucket Groups which I am gathering we are not licensed for them? However I did see the option under Performance Analytics> Breakdowns > Buckets Groups and it appears a few were set up under there?

In reporting, the functionality most similar to bucket groups is Report Ranges.

Ah this might be the solution for the user I am looking for. I can look into creating those. So just curious if I wanted to test this with the user, where would they select the range? Is it something they would select in the filter options?

FYI, this link points to a resource that no longer exists (HTTP 404).

'Bucket groups' is part of PA, it isn't compatible with the reporting side unfortunately. As Adam stated, Report Ranges is the closest you'll get, but for us that isn't meeting the customer needs. I had to use PA.

Okay I think I know what direction to take this. It was the user who thought Bucket Groups would be the answer to his problem. I am looking at Report Ranges and that seems the way to go. Sorry, now that I have looked at how our report ranges are set up I see now they are incorporated into his bar graph. We are looking into now changing the Global settings (which is unlikely as other users may not be on board with that). Or perhaps targeting for instance the task table or overlapping the ranges. Lot's to research but I appreciate everyone pointing me in the right direction!!!!
