How to create a new "scheduled export" in platform analytis?

I can't view "new" in "scheduled export" in platform analytis. What's the difference between the core ui analytics "scheduled report" and platform analytics "scheduled export"? Thanks.

Both are same for now as servicenow is moving all things under platform analytics.

once you migrate to Platform analytics, all core UI reporting modules will be migrated to platform analytics.

 

In Core UI, I can view "new" in scheduled report, however in platform analytics ->scheduled export, I can't view any "new" button, is it expected? Then how to schedule export? Do I have to go to a data visualization to "export"? Is it possible to export a dashboard? Thanks.

"Scheduled Reports" can only send out reports, while "Scheduled Exports" can also send out entire dashboards.

 

As per the documentation you need to have either the admin or viz_admin role to schedule any visualization. Otherwise you can only schedule those that you created yourself, using More actions > Export on the visualization itself.
