How to give users with only snc_external role access to dashboards?

Hi,
I have enabled the Explicit Roles (com.glide.explicit_roles
) plugin that provides the snc_external and snc_internal roles.
How can I give a user that only has the 'snc_external' role access to the dashboard overview and a dashboard.
Have added user with access to the dashboard, and added snc_external to read ACL for table 'pa_dashboard', but still being stopped by 'Security constraints prevent access to requested page'
Anyone?

Hi,
I would talk to your ServiceNow representative. snc_external is a role that basically is used for end users and I'm not sure they are allowed to use dashboards. Since they are end-users, they can only see their own records and that would probably wouldn't be enough data to be needed to handle by a dashboard. Are they using a Service Portal? There is baseline functionality to show reports on a portal that might meet up with the requirements that you have.

Does anyone know how to give access to a dashboard for a user with only snc_external role?

Preben,
Make sure you've added the 'snc_external' role to the following:
- pa_dashboard.read acl - sounds like you've done this
- using the 'Share' icon on the pa dashboard
- Each tab (page) on the dashboard (in the dashboard properties)
- any table used to show data on the dashboard widgets
These users also have the pa_viewer role in our instance. This was driving me crazy the last couple of days, hope this helps.

Can you help me i'm also finding same issue I have gave few roles to one of my external user but he facing issue to create case or finidng all related cases which are submitted and issue on search bar as well. Please help me.
I gave this roles to my external user for CSM portal.
- sn_customerservice.customer
- sn_esm_user
- snc_external
