How to hide dashboard tabs

Hi all,

May i ask how can i hide this dashboard tab?

It should be seen by manager only.

Dashboard tabs are not dynamic. You either see all the tabs or none of them (no access to the dashboard). What I do in this case is to create different dashboards (with different permissions). You can manually share tabs on multiple dashboards and have the manager tab only available the manager version.

Hello,

As far as I know you can't hide tabs on dashboards however might be a better idea to create a separate dashboard e.g. Admin, manager etc. Dashboards aren't licence-able so you can create as many as you want.

Otherwise you can still have the tab but just make sure the widgets are only shared with the specific people or roles required and when people who don't the authorizations they will get the message along the lines of "You don't have the permissions to view this content"
