Reporting on Schedule Entry

I'm trying to run a report on the Schedule Entry table (cmn_schedule_span), but when I try to filter it by the date, the options for the Start Date Time and End Date Time are only "is", "is not", and "is anything." How am I able to filter on normal time values (ie "last month", "after X date")?

Also, if I switch the report type to calendar, the only values that are available in the Calender by field are "Created" and "Updated". I think I should expect to see the date values for the actual windows.

(Please don't answer with a link to the SN wiki without an explanation; I couldn't find a good answer there, so I'm asking here)

This is happening since data type for start   and end dates is Schedule Date/Time.

You will get date filters ( last week, last month ) ... in date time fields.

Thanks a bunch.

@sachin.namjoshi Is there a way to get the Start, End, Start Date time, and End Date time columns updated to date time fields? If we do update those columns to date time filed  in our instances when we do the next upgrade will that configuration be overwritten/reverted to what the column type is configured OOB?

Thanks,

Scott

It's not good idea to change datatype of these fields on cmn_schedule_span table since it will break existing OOB functionalities in PPM, Financial management and SLA configurations.

These fields are referenced by these OOB applications. It will cause lot of issues during your future upgrades.
