The requirement is mostly same as your report but I need the cumulative count of the tasks. Here we get only current month count. If there are 100 incidents each in Aug and Oct, it should display 200 in Oct and so on.

unfortunately this is not possible with normal reporting.

You would need Performance Analytics to create such a report.
