I need to create a report of month wise cumulative count of catalog tasks

Need to create a report - month wise trend of catalog tasks with cumulative count in each month based on state of the task

But as the month changes, surely the states of tasks may change too. How do you plan on visualizing that? You should re-consider having this report made this way to be honest.
