Indicators on Vendor workspace management

I have to create some formula indicators and show that on Vendor workspace .

Please suggests me servicenow accepted steps to create it including scope accepted.

go to Formula Indicators and define logic, and save then schedule/run data collection jobs for base indicators then create a PA widget and display it on a dashboard. Expose in Vendor Workspace the Use UI builder to add the dashboard or PA widget to the vendor workspace. verify data and publish changes.

Is it possible to utilize OOB widget on Vendor workspace to show our formula indicator values.

I have tried it and it is throwing error. Our client didnt allow for customization. 

So is it possible to show KPI values on VM workspace without customized widget?
