I'm currently planning to implement Performance Analytics (PA) in our organization to track KPIs and analyze trends. However, I’ve read that Platform Analytics (dashboards and widgets) serves as a foundation for Performance Analytics.
Would it be better to:
- Transition our current reports into Platform Analytics first, creating reusable dashboards and widgets, and then adopt PA?
- Or, is it feasible to jump directly into PA without relying heavily on Platform Analytics initially?
I’m particularly interested in:
- How Platform Analytics can make the PA setup more efficient.
- Any potential pitfalls or lessons learned from skipping Platform Analytics.
- Real-life examples of incremental vs. direct implementations.
