Is there an effective way to create interactive filters for text fields

First off, I know we should have this as a checkbox or drop down but right now, we don't.

We have values in multi-line text fields such as "Top 25 = Yes".  Is there a way I can use this in an interactive filter?  I am hoping I can create a filter that if Incident -> Impacted Application -> Short Description contains "Top 25 = Yes" then count it from an interactive filter.  I want to have the results change if button is checked.

I can create a bar chart and I can use it as a dataset to do a Yes vs No but I want to be able to select it as a radio button or checkbox where if selected, that means yes.

I wonder if you can create the report as bar chart as you suggest but then use the report as the interactive filter instead. Not sure if that helps you but here is the documentation that talks about seting up a report as interactive filter:

Sounds interesting but I don't see that option.

I only have Follow interactive filter, not "Act as interactive filter".  I sent feedback to the document.  Thanks though.  I think that could be a workaround.  Not as nice as a checkbox but it may get the job done.
