IT Workload PA Dashboard

I'm trying to create a PA Dashboard for our CIO. He has very specific requirements. I'm trying to mock this up using incident to show New, In Progress, Closed with a trend line of backlog (anything still in progress). I'm able to do this but because of the way the out of the box indicators are counting I'm not getting distinct occurrences of each incident so they may be counted multiple time in one month. Example screenshot below showing that open incidents are in the 20 thousand which is incorrect. Is there a way to get the correct number without changing any of the out of the box indicators or sources?

Hi @Brian Lancaster ,

i would always recommend to create your own indicator source, automated indicator and formula indicators, to ensure it’s configured according to your requirement and that you retrieve the expected data.

so from my perspective, start configuration from scratch and build the PA reports according to the CIO requirement.

I was thinking that might be the answer. So question, they want this by month so I'm guessing it would be best to set the indicator source to month. However I'm not sure how to do the scheduled jobs since each month is not the same.

Hi @Brian Lancaster .

This is an example of a job that I have in my PDI that runs on monthly basis:

Nice never even thought to have the start 1 month ago but then have it end 1 day ago.
