Need help Creating a Velocity Chart

I am trying to create a Velocity Chart that would show the number story points Completed in Completed Sprints for a team over time. I tried using the ones in agile 2.0 bundle but they don't have any data. I can't seem to get a dashboard that is just a simple line graph. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

This is the Team Velocity Graph that comes with the ServiceNow performance analytics content pack for agile 2.0. Is this what you had in mind? If it is, you will have to run a data collection job to see the graphs' data populate.

In the Left-hand menu, either search for Jobs or go to Performance Analytics--> Data Collector--> Jobs and search for "[Scrum] Daily Data Collection."find_real_file.png

Open the record. The job is not active by default, and you will need to activate the job and save it and now click on Execute Now button. Give it a little time to collect the data, and you should now start seeing the data on the reports.

Here is the link to the documentation as well

I hope that helps out!

I checked, and everything is the same as your screen shots but the velocity history still does shows no data in the dashboards. The job log says collected with errors but then shows not errors. but it also shows previous times it ran as no errors and still I have no data in the dashboard.

From What I can find it looks like i don't have an indicator for that. I new to this so I could be looking at and recognize the name.

Hello, i am experiencing similar to what you reported. Have you been able to overcome?
