Performance Analytics Indicator Source and Indicators

Hi All,

After creating Indicator Source and Indicators, When I try to change the Frequency in Indicator Source, I am unable to do that. and when I try removing the Indicator Source from Indicators. I am unable to do and Also I am unable to delete either Indicator Source or Indicators. Please let me know how to overcome this situation.

Hi Vasu,

You cannot perform the following actions if there are scores collected for an Indicator:

1. Modify the Indicator Source of an Indicator

2. Delete an Indicator

The actions on the indicator source like modifying the frequency and deleting are not permitted as it is being used in an Indicator.

So, you need to delete all the scores from the Scores (pa_scores) table for an Indicator in order to perform any of the above action.

P.S. You cannot delete an Indicator if it is used in any formula indicator.

@Maheshwari Mule you replied on a archaic reply from @Kuldeep Kumavat and @Vasanth Pandia1 but if I understand correctly all you are trying to do is to push the indicator/indicator source using Update set in to a live environment already having scores for this indicator in such case you may need to manually delete scores and then move. Others can opine too.

Yes, exactly I want to do is: Indicator source having frequency as monthly in higher environment and now as per new requirement wants to change to Daily.
