Pill interactive filters minimum search character is 3 ?

In ServiceNow platform analytics I want to ask about the behavior of these two Filter element types "Pill" and "Typeahead"

Why does the pill one has the minimum character to search is 3 but the Typeahead doesn't require one ? Please refer to these videos below to know more.

Have anybody encountered this problem before ?

The Pill element enforces a 3-character threshold as a safety measure to prevent massive, unoptimized database queries from a standard dropdown search. In contrast, the Typeahead element is engineered from the ground up to safely handle fluid, character-by-character filtering without risking dashboard performance
