Platform analytics dashboard favorites (with existing filters)

Hello,

In our organization a lot of users access (old) dashboards with pre-existing filtering by using the 'favorites' tab. We already migrated some of the dashboards towards Platform Analytics. There's only a bookmark functionality on PA which is different than favorites which poses 2 UX problems:
- at least 1 extra click is needed because the platform analytics - dashboards have to be opened, then the bookmarked section and then the dashboard itself
- the bigger problem is that this way you cannot save dashboards with different filter settings in the same menu. One dashboard can only be bookmarked once. In the old dashboard UX you could favorite it multiple times with different settings.

As a temporary solution I told users to copy the URL with filter (via the share option on the dashboard) and to save this in browser bookmarks. Am I missing an easier/better solution to this problem?

You are not missing anything, this is how it works at the moment. I am also concerned that business users who regularly check multiple dashboards saved as favorites will have questions, raise incidents and requests as they transition to Platform Analytics where their dashboards can only be bookmarked within the PA "workspace".

In addition to doing the "extra click" each time or the browser bookmark that you mentioned, my personal workaround is the following:

I navigate to the dashboard I use the most and then under preferences, set the default page to "The page I'm on now" which essentially turns the current dashboard into my start page and it's easy to navigate here using the "Home" icon. After this, clicking the little down arrow next to the dashboard name, I can move between my X recently viewed dashboards.
