I've went through all the steps for "Platform Analytics Task (Content)" in the "Welcome to ServiceNow" more than a few times already and have looked at other community posts for help, but not solution has worked so far.
Some things I have tried:
- Doing the exercise while as an admin and also when impersonating as a user.
- Tried different names for the dashboard as per the recommendations of several community posts.
- Redid past exercises and then redoing this exercise.
The area noted with red as the changes to the Dashboard name I've done as per the exercise (step 10) and the name recommendation of community posts.
Areas highlighted in green are the results of the exercise steps 6 and 7.
Solved! Go to Solution.

I've managed to pin down the step that caused the validation to fail. Am it documenting here in case anyone has a similar issue.
7. Select the Details panel, and change the chart name to, "Open Incidents by Priority".
I had missed this step but couldn't get back into the Pie Chart configuration to change the text in Details > Names. It may be better to recreate the Pie Chart and do the following steps after step 6.
Step 1) Click the circular icon with 'i' in the centre. It is located on the right-hand bar.
Step 2) In the text box labelled 'Name *', paste the name given in the task, then use the 'Save' button on the top right of the screen.

Hi @JnY000055,
Just to check - have you also updated the Chart name via the 'Details' panel as outlined in step 7? See screenshot below for reference:
This step seems to catch people out and your screenshot only shows that you've updated the Chart title as per step 6.

I've spotted a couple of recent posts about this so I've just published [Lab Validation Notes] Welcome to ServiceNow (Zurich): Platform Analytics - let me know if this helps or if you need any further assistance?

Thank you for the compilation of past solutions from the community, but unfortunately none of them have worked for me.
