Year-on year or month-on-month reporting is quite common within ITSM. I believe this type of reporting was previously possible in Performance Analytics using the "previous period chart" and "previous period settings" options within a widget.
Now we are (forced to be) using Next Experience data visualisations I cannot find any option to do this kind of comparison. It's not a data collection issue as it's simply Incidents created or opened each month this year vs the same created last year, which you could get just from reporting or from the regular incident daily indicator summed over the month with an appropriate aggregation. It's the visualisation that is the issue - overlaying with months in the X axis and count in the Y axis. See attached screenshot for a sample expected result.
Is this really no longer possible?
