Previous year and current year comparison report

Hello everyone, 

I want to show a report that compares the current metrics to that from a previous year 2024/2025 or 2025/2026 like the image below. 

Please share your ideas on this.

My first thinking about your needs is to create a field to calculate the data in the way you need , following a particular value order and then you use this field as group by.
Example of field values:
Value: 1 -> Display: Jan 24
Value: 2 -> Display: Jan 25
Value: 3 -> Display: Feb 24
Value: 4 -> Display: Feb 25

I don't like it but I think it is doable.

When you are talking PA reports / PA widgets, there is an OOTB functionality on the widget itself

This is not showing the previous year data in a side-by-side comparison with the current year data.
