After upgrading from Helsinki to Istanbul, serveral reports are showing "Report visible only to a specific user or group" across all dashboards. One example is the "All Incidents by Category/State by Department" report. I've double checked the "Sharing" on this report and it is set to "Everyone". What else, besides the report sharing setting, might be causing this problem?

Activating the "Report Security - enforce access control checks" plugin appears to have resolved this issue. Apparently this plugin is already active in many instances but in my case it was not because our instance started off as Express and was upgraded to Enterprise.

Hi Michael,
Can you check what is the value of User field on the related report? You need to traverse to a Reports -> All list view to see this information.
If the User field has a value GLOBAL then it will be available to all users
If the User field has a value group then it will be available to a shared group
If the User field has a sys_id then it will be assigned to a user.
Thanks

I do not see an option for "Reports > All". I am running Istanbul Patch 2. The closest thing I have to a list view for reports is "Reports > View/Run". If I select a report from that list I do not see a "User" field. The closest thing I can find is by selecting "Sharing" under the drop down next to the Save button. This dialogue has a "Visible to" setting that can be either "Me", "Everyone" or "Groups and Users". Most of the reports that are not working for me are set to "Everyone" or to "Groups and Users".

It seems you do not have the admin access to verify the module, I suggest you contact HI support if your reports are messed up after upgrade.
Thanks

Could it be that you need to share the content of a widget with the targeted users (that's done on the widget's config page or in the Report Builder)?
