Regarding PRB1892286

Hi, we recentlty ran in to some problems regarding users with different language than EN not being able to edit the name of the dashboard as mentioned in the PRB1892286. The users can't change the name of the tabs either and another thing that is not workig is that if I go to a dashboard and impersonate the users having the issue above, the home button will take me to that dashboard everytime. It does not remeber my last visited dashboard. Cache.do does nothing.

Just wanted to add that to the problem.

@Gustaf Lindberg Cache.do does not fix them because preferences are stored in the database per user, not in the mid-tier cache. Navigate to System Definition > User PreferencesSearch for preferences related to dashboards for the affected users. Delete these preferences for the users experiencing the issue.

and also ensure the users have the correct roles to modify dashboards and verify that the dashboard application scope matches what the user is permitted to edit.

Note: Use the sys_cache_flush.do URL to flush and rebuild the server-side cache.

PRB1892286

KB2277705

A non-admin user can't change a dashboard name by specific steps when the system language is set to JapaneseThe dashboard name should be updated correctly and reflected in both the primary record and its translated fields, as it is in the Washington and Xanadu versions. In the Yokohama version, the update to the dashboard name fails silently when the Japanese language is enabled and the sys_translated record exists.

Refer to the listed KB article for details.
