Report based on Org Chart/Management Hierarchy

Hi All,

Is there a way to build a report based on a Org Chart/Management Hierarchy?

E.g. I want to build a report with all of the employees under Manager X (there are multiple levels of managers and employees under Manager X).

Sure, there are ways.

For example, if you can use Performance Analytics, you could leverage the power of breakdown relations.

Or you could create a report source that will act as data for your report - haven't tried it, but it could work with proper grouping.

Or you could create a database view that will act as data for your report - if the report source won't work, this could.

Take a look at Performance Analytics 301 from K19 in the on-demand library.  We reviewed several ways to handle this in Performance Analytics and somewhat carry over to Reporting as well.
