Hello,
I have an indicator source called “Case New”, which collects daily data from the Case table, using the condition Created on = Today.
I also have an indicator called “Number of Workable Cases”, which uses the above indicator source and adds an additional condition: State = New OR Open.
This indicator includes several breakdowns, one of which is Assigned to.
I want a report that show the monthly trend of cases grouped by assigned to
I made a trend report with data source the above indicator “Number of Workable Cases” group by the Assigned to brekdown.
The report is intended to display the number of cases assigned to each person by month — for example, the number of cases assigned to Person A in September, to Person A in October,to person B in september, yo person B on October and so on.
However, I’ve noticed that the data displayed in the report is not correct.
For instance:
Yesterday, the report showed 5 cases assigned to Person A in September and 4 cases assigned to Person B in October.
Yesterday (in October), I changed the Assigned to field of one case from Person A to Person B.
After the nightly data collection job ran, the report show still 5 cases for person A on September (which is correct because I want to keep the story that the case was assigned to person A in september),but it still shows 4 cases for person B in October that is incorrect, they should be 5 because yesterday i moved a case form person A to person B.
What is wrong?
Should I cange the indicator source date condition?
With the "created on today" condition in the indicator source is the snapshot taken only for the new cases created today?
Should I put in the indicator source as date condition "Updated on today"?
