Report on Dashboard not allowing drill down for other users

Cat

We have a user who has added a chart to a dashboard as a widget. When they click on any of the bars, it takes them to a page with a list view of that information. However, when someone else on their team clicks on the bar, they get a message: "Security constraints prevent access to requested page"

The users have access to the Dashboard and chart - why does this occur for them?

@Cat

it looks like that is a database view joining multiple tables and hence not showing up in the Access Analyzer

share how your report is configured

Is it using some group by etc

In left nav search database view and search that here

So the user is not able to see the data for this table; if that is the case, it means the user does not have access to this table.

Yes, but how do I give them access to the table if it doesn't show as a table as shared in screenshots in my below response to Sandeep Rajput?

  • Search for the table in the application navigator.

  • Click the pencil icon.

  • Check which role is assigned there.

  • Go to the user profile and assign that role to the user.

It doesn't appear

Go to Tables and search for this table; there you will find the role linked with it.

Also, if you are searching by the table name, it may not appear. Do you have a module for this table?
