HI, I've seen this question posted a few times but none seem to have gotten an answer because the OP never got back to their question.
I have created a report based on the type Trend, where the x-axis are months. It shows amount of high priority tickets made per month, but when there are no such tickets made in a month, then the month doesn't show up in the chart. For an overview that is not to be misunderstood accidentally, i would like to show these empty months in the chart. How do I go about that, using these settings?
I've blocked out any sensitive information, so I hope the screenshots are still clear enough. I've added the source, filters and the chart to show what's missing. Thanks in advance!

Hi Sushil,
Thank you for your suggestion. I'm not familiar at all with widgets or Performance Analytics so I'm going to have to study on this! But maybe you can explain quickly how I can apply this to a report? I was able to create the widget using your screenshot but how do I "run" it? Just let me know if this is too much to explain, sorry!

Hi Marissa,
You can add time series widget to any dashboard and start using it. Refer - https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/kingston-performance-analytics-and-reporting/page/use/dashboards/concept/create-and-edit-dashboards.html

Hi,
I ran into this same odd issue without an obvious fix. We're on London at the moment.
Obviously this is long after your original question, but I did find a workaround. I essentially used "Multiple Datasets" to add an unimportant report that had data every single month. I chose a Line chart, and colored the line as White so it'd blend into the backdrop. I used Count Distinct on a field that would pull a 0 or 1 value, so it would stay out of the way.
In my case, I used the Change Request table, trended on Closed by month, and aggregated by Count Distinct of Domain, since I don't think we utilize more than a single one.
In any case, this is working as a crude solution for me for now. Let me know if I can answer any questions.

Jason - This sounds like a great workaround. Thank you for taking the time to post this. I wish I could mark this helpful 5 times over. This is the type of solution I've used in the past while using Tableau. Hoping it works but thanks again!
