Hi @pramn ,

When reporting on the State field from the parent Task table, certain Incident, Problem, or Change-specific states may not appear as expected.

This can occur because the choice lists and choice values defined across the extended tables differ or overlap. As Incident, Problem, and Change extend the Task table, their state choices can have different labels, values, or configurations, which may cause some specific states to be missing or displayed incorrectly when reporting from the parent Task table.

To troubleshoot, compare the state choice records and their corresponding values, labels, table references, and Created By information across the Task, Incident, Problem, and Change tables.

My suggestion would be to fix this issue-

  • Create separate list reports for each table:

    • Incident —incident
    • Problem — problem
    • Change Request — change_request

Creating reports directly on the respective child tables ensures that their table-specific state choices are correctly available and displayed in the report.

@pramn

report is on task table and you are saying some states are not coming in report?

how did you configure that?

may be those state values are defined on problem table level and not task table level

better to separate them

Hi @pramn

Have you investigated for the records that are not showing state where state is coming from?
