Reporting on catalog item non-use

Hello. We have ~200 catalog items and record producers in our service catalog and we would like to generate a report showing the ones that have never been used.

We had the same type problem, I created a report against the Requested Items which I could dot-walk to Catalog Item.
Then I did a comparison of the active Catalog Items to find those that did not appear on both lists.
It wasn't some of my best work, but it got me through a quick analysis - it served the purpose without actually making a PA or other level or report.

I found a way to report on Catalog Items (sc_cat_item) that have never been used. I excluded record producers and change templates, using the related list condition I was able to filter on Requested Items (sc_req_item). You could theoretically set the threshold in the related list condition, for example "Requested less than 50 times".

Hi @schmidt4081 ,
If you have performance analytics installed, you can create a some PA to capture the utilization of catalog items. This will not only show the once that have never been used but also those that might only have been utilized 1 or 2 times. example shown below where I look at utilization on monthly basis:
