I have a question, Is it possible to create reports on Remote Table Data ? I could see that Performance Analytics can be used, but, in case we only want to use Reporting Is there a possible way to do that ?
You want to look at Remote Tables (introduced in New York). The use cases are different as External Indicators for Performance Analytics are useful if you are aggregating millions of records that you don't want to load into the instance. Remote Tables are limited to ~1k rows.
Generally, I land the data in a real table (at least the key fields and a link back to the source system) so I can use it in Reporting and Performance Analytics but it of course depends on data volume among other things.
