Reports in Migration Center

Hi All,

Is there any way to migrate only specific reports to Platform analytics using Migration Center?

I see there is option available for Dashboards but not for Reports.

No, not at this moment. They say they are doing some updates to the migration center on Yokohama, but it's unclear it that also contains moving only reports.

What you could do (if for some reason it is very important), is put the report(s) you want migrated on a dashboard and just select that dashboard for migration. The reports will be data visualizations after that and you can add them to the library. It's a work around, but it'll work.

Hi @Mark Manders Thanks for this information. Do you know if this is available in Yokohama now?

For context - My company's instance is in Yokohama but we will be migrating directly to Zurich in June and I want to migrate our reports over. However, the instance has 8000 reports and 600 dashboards and I cant move them all onto a dashboard to migrate it over. Nor do i have a way to identify which reports are already on dashboards and which are not.

Australia will have more migration options, so not on Yokohama. 

But just curious: why do you want to move all your reports and not all your dashboards? It seems that if you want to move all your reports, you may as well just do a total migration. No more dual maintenance and just one user experience.

Thank you for taking the time to reply.

To clarify my challenge- 

I want to move all my dashboards (600) and my Reports (8000).
Will the total migration activity migrate the dashboards and reports? or only the dashboards?

(I don't know how many of my reports are standalone and not associated with a dashboard)

I cant find any documentation stating that the total migration will move the reports as well.

If I use the try individual migration, then I can only select dashboards to migrate (not reports)
