Reports open in new window from dashboard

We have multiple reports on a dashboard. When you click on an element in the report sometimes things open in a new tab/window and sometimes things open in the tiny dashboard frame. Is there a way to set it so it opens in a new window? It's hard to read a data list in the frame. We're hoping to avoid telling people they have to go to the report directly first.

Hello, just to cover all bases.

Have you checked the reporting structure?

I've had this before and its because some of the reports were copied variants and inherited the drill down.

Go to reports --> Administration --> Properties and set this property to "Yes"

"Opens drill down information in a new window or tab when user clicks a chart item, if selected"

Even with this selected, the list opens within from from the dashboard.

Then I guess, the one that you are trying to open could be the Performance Analytics widgets rather than a regular report? In that case, I don't think there is a solution yet. Refer this

I don't think this is related to that.

We don't own Performance Analytics. I'm looking at a report on a dashboard. Its not going to a scorecard, its opening up the list view, just within the frame.
