ServiceNow report to see how many tickets were assigned to an assignment group on a given day

Hello,

I was wondering if there is anyway in ServiceNow to report off of tables such as Incident or Catalog Task and determine how many tickets were assigned to a specific assignment group on a given day. For example if I had an Asset Management assignment group and 10 incidents were assigned to them originally but later 5 were assigned to a different group. Am I able to track that those tickets were originally assigned to the Asset Management assignment group? Since the Incident and Catalog Task forms have an activity feed showing the assignment group field changes I was wondering if this can be reported off of in any way. Or if this is not the case, is there a different method to track tickets that were assigned to a specific assignment group on a given date? Please let me know your thoughts as this question was posed to me and I had no idea if this was possible. Thank you.
