Sharing of Dashboards in Platform Analytics

Is there a way to restrict the sharing of dashboards to a specific role. I can see that any viz_creator can share dashboards. I am concerned that especially since they can now copy an entire dashboard easily, many people will be sharing 'rogue' versions of the 'official' dashboards. I don't mind so much if they are just creating their own copy for their own use, but I really don't want them to be able to share all over the place. Can the sharing option be limited to specific roles?

Correction after reading this post... viz_creator can share their own dashboards with users or groups. I would like to know if there is a way to take away the sharing privilege altogether.

What I really want is a role that has the following

‘Can create data visualizations/dashboards but not add to the library. Can also edit, delete, export the data visualizations/dashboards that they have created.’

This is the base role I want to give to my 'itil' users.

Then I can give viz_creator to my 'advanced' users. This would help me limit the proliferation of dashboards and incorrect visualizations.

Hi @Jane Stone ,

You need to look into this article: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/washingtondc-now-intelligence/page/use/dashboards/reference/dashb... where it's stated:
