SIngle score reports with drilldowns on dashboards don't launch in new tab

Has anyone found a solution on how to have a drilldown list report, from a single score report on a dashboard automatically generate in a new tab?  If the single score report doesn't have a drilldown associated with it, it launches fine in a new tab.  The single score widgets on a dashboard don't lend themselves to display drilldown list reports with multiple columns.

Have you tried making the property below true? It can be located at Reports > Properties.

Hi Marcello - Yes it's set to true in our instance and works fine for chart reports.  Unfortunately the property doesn't seem to extend to single score reports.  I even tried development in Classic UI as suggested by another post but the issue still persists in dashboards for this particular scenario.  Cheers

Can you explain in more details what is happening when you have a single score report widget with no drilldowns added to a dashboard? Aren't the columns being displayed? A screenshot would help.

Hi again

Single score widget with no drilldowns launch correctly into a new tab.  The problem is a single score widget with a defined drilldown (as list view needs to show a specific set of columns for this particular report).  Below are the screen grabs:
