Hi,
I am trying to add an extended field Overview [Incident] to a report created against Problem task by dot walking Problem task -> Problem -> Parent -> Overview [Incident]. As shown below i was able to select the field for reporting but on clicking Save or Run, the field doesn't show up on the report and is automatically eliminated from the Selected fields list.
Below is the generated report without the Overview field.
Not sure why this is happening is it a bug or am i missing out on a property.
Regards,
Irston

Hi,
So you are saying in List layout of Problem Task you are able to get that field but not in reporting?
can you try to enable this property once and check? this you may need to create if not found
glide.ui.list.allow_extended_fields -> true
It worked fine for me in Reporting as well
Sample Date is on Incident Table and showing in Report

Hi Ankur,
Thank you for your reply.
The property has already been enabled glide.ui.list.allow_extended_fields has been enabled on our instance.
The field that i am referring to is a HTML field, are you able to perform the same action on an extended HTML field like Overview?

Hi Ankur,
I just tested and infact none of the extended fields are getting added at this point, somehow it seems to me that the issue is intermittent. Is there a limit to the number of fields that a report can list ? I even took an excel export and the case is the same, I am not able to get those fields.
Any leads on this issue can help .

Irston
