Users are unable to see contents of Dashboards in Prod

I've created a couple of PA Dashboards. Some users can see the contents, but others just see blank pages (although they can see the Dashboard name in the drop down select box).

They have access to all the reports and content as well as to the Dashboard. Odd thing is, they can see it in the subprod environments, just not in Prod.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

this is related to PRB681077.


You can work around this:


- go to a form (any form will do)


- click on "More options" (the three dots in the header of the form)


- choose "Toggle Template Bar"



After that the dashboard will show the widgets and the content.

Which version of SN are you running and how did the dashboards get transferred from subprod to prod?



There have been a lot of issues with transfer by update set (because the dashboards have underlying pages).


We're on Helsinki, and these were created in Helsinki.


The indicators and widgets were created in Dev and promoted using update sets. The full dashboard did not transfer properly via the update sets so I had to recreate the dashboard in Prod then I manually added the new widgets. Note, not everyone is having the visibility issue, it's just a few users. One can see it in Dev but not in Prod, the other can't see it in either environment. Other users can see it fine in both environments. I'm compared roles, groups, etc. There's no difference, if anything the ones that can see it belong to fewer groups. I have a manager that can't see it in prod. The dashboard is there, he can see the tabs, but every page is blank.

Well that did something. When I did that under my user ID, the dashboard went blank for me. I did it a second time and then they were back. When I impersonate the users with issues though, it didn't change their views and they don't have access to any Forms under their ID's to get to the Toggle Template Bar setting. Is this available anywhere else? Each user would need to do this if they were having visibility issues?
