Weird problem w/ filter & list in Platform Analytics dashboard

Hello, everyone.

I'm dealing with a very strange and unexpected problem: In a Platform Analytics dashboard, I created a bar chart for the "sc_req_items" table, and then duplicated the bar chart and converted it into a list in order to keep the conditions. Then, I added a single-select filter that filters the "Assigned to" field. However, the filter is only working on a bar chart, but is refusing to work on the list as well. When I select one user in the filter, the supposedly filtered list insists on showing the records in which "Assigned to" is other users, even though I explicitly checked "Follow filter"!

Does anyone know why this would happen at all and how I can fix this?

I just followed your exact steps and the filter updated both the bar chart and the list. My instance is on Australia Patch 1, Platform Analytics 8.1.0 (and all the other related apps are up to date).

 

Can you clear your cache/do a hard refresh of your browser and check again?

 

Also: check if your PA apps are all on the latest versions. If not, update them and check again. They keep fixing bugs, which is a good thing in itself, just too bad it's necessary.

If nothing helps, contact NowSupport, because then something isn't working as it should.

I believe that my company's instance (where the problem emerged) is still in Xanadu, since we only conduct one instance upgrade per year. That said, I want to let you know that I did stumble upon a solution: Re-creating the same data visualisation not in the dashboard itself, but in the library of data visualisations, and then adding the saved data visualisation to the dashboard.
