Good afternoon,
We currently have a total of 57,751 users created on our production instance.
I would like to know if the amount of users is too high and if this can cause any slowdowns.
Also, can we know the number of users created per day from LDAP and by manual creation (directly from Servicenow)?

I dont know that there is a limit- if there is a legitimate need then they are valid. Also a low subset of users would probably be logged in at any one time...
Now if you have users that were created years ago that never have submitted any incidents and have nothing tied to their account- then perhaps archiving them or removing them is ok.
You should be able to tell if users are created by ldap or otherwise.... Sometimes other attributes like usertype are set by ldap or the ldap created by user is a unique admin level type user.

We have over 2 million. It does take a few seconds longer to load the sys_user table than it does other tables, but with that volume, it's expected. We have tables with a much larger number of records
Hope this helps.
