I have a daily job that collects incidents in the Awaiting Info state, and it has been running every day for the past four months. I also have a historical job that collects the same type of data for the past six months, but it was only run once at the beginning. If I run the historical job again now, will it overwrite the data that has already been collected by the daily job?

TL;dr: Do not run the historical job again as it will overwrite your collected daily data.

That was consistently part of the logic shared—the Historical Job should not run again.

yes it will, historical jobs just need to run when a new indicator is created or source is changed.
Running historical jobs have performance impacts as well based on the data being collected.
Please mark the answer correct/helpful accordingly.
