grouping catalog items

My customer wants approximately 60 catalog items to be created. Is there a way to group them like in the Classic View? Example: If I select Network, then all catalog items associated with Network will appear. Understand that Network might not be a term in the name of the catalog item so searching may not find the catalog item I want.
