Hello! I need some help understanding what is the best way to integrate servicenow to other systems like topdesk, jira, and others.
I've tried outbound rest integrations for doing bidirectional communication, however some things did not work properly.
For instance , I need a 'translation' method . If on topdesk the status is 3, on servicenow the state needs to be -5. I needed some kind of engine that works like transform maps, but for integrations between systems.
Another issue was sometimes the correlation number would not be populated, not really sure why.
So I'm tryng to understand what is the best way to do it.
Hiring another provider like perspectium or workato?
Doing it using outbound and something else on servicenow?
Could you help me?

@AmáliaN ,
Best way to integrate with other systems like TOPdesk, Jira, etc.... really depends on your use case, the volume of data, and how tightly you need the systems to stay in sync........because simple outbound REST calls will work for basic create/update but don’t give you the rich mapping or correlation logic you’re describing....... so most real world integrations either use IntegrationHub with spokes or webhooks and flows that explicitly map statuses and correlation id between systems......that provide field mapping, transform logic and synchronization engines to handle bi directional flows and data translation without reinventing it all yourself..........
