PDI Request Still on Waitlist After One Week – Any ETA?

Hi everyone,

I requested a Personal Developer Instance (PDI) about a week ago, but my request is still showing "Waitlist" with the message "No instance is assigned yet." I also noticed the banner mentioning that there is high demand for PDI requests.

When Can I expect to get my PDI?

Hi @sachdevaaka 

Due to high demand following a new platform family release, PDI pools for the Australia version are currently experiencing errors or waitlisting. These days lots of similar issue reported.

I will suggest you to Wait  for PDI request to be provisioned if your request is  already waitlisted.  Do not cancel your request, as you will lose your spot.

Support is not available for PDI .

Note:You can try releasing your current request and requesting an earlier version (e.g., Zurich ), as they may have more availability . But Community members reported that there is also having waitlist issue.

While waiting for your PDI, you can still start learning the platform through the free ServiceNow University courses, product documentation, developer articles, and community content.

You can also focus on understanding core concepts such as:

• Tables and relationships
• Business Rules
• Client Scripts
• Flow Designer
• Script Includes
• Integrations (REST/SOAP)
• Service Portal

Additionally, many learning modules include videos, labs, and examples that can help build theoretical knowledge until a PDI becomes available. Once your instance is provisioned, you'll be able to apply and reinforce what you've learned through hands-on practice.

Since PDIs are currently being waitlisted due to high demand, unfortunately there is no published ETA for provisioning.
