" Set decomposition to not relevant " causing issues with Order Line Decomposition

The Business Rule "Set decomposition to not relevant " on Order Line Item is preventing from OLIS and Orders from decomposing because the Customer Order looks at order line items that are not set to this status
Note sure if anyone else has run into this, but the only way I could get an order to decompose was to set this to inactive. Are there other workarounds?

A full inactivation of the rule is risky, since that flag exists to skip lines that genuinely shouldn't decompose, so you may break those later. A cleaner path is to narrow the rule's condition so it fires only for products that truly aren't decomposable, not every line. Also worth a check on whether decomposition relevance should come from your product catalog setup instead.
