Hi Team,

I have 22 entitlment of Adobe incopy cc edition 4 and we have Adobe integration from where we can see 22 user subscriber list, however these are tied to Incopy CC Pro model by integration, when i open this model we can see 22 unlicensed subcription. I need these 22 unlicensed subscritption to be tied to edition 4 entitlement.

So, i have created a custom ppn and created a sw model tied to custom ppn with Adobe metric group and user subscription as license metric and gave the downgrade right to Incopy CC Pro model in which 22 unlicsned subscription is showing, however i am not getting the consumption,

please help with the issue and confirm i am doing right?, if not what is the correct way

Note(as per my check in Adobe licensing we can downgraded the edtion of CC edtion 4 to CC Pro for Incopy)

Hi @SHIV KUMAR11 ,

as the most subscriptions are version less, it’s the same for the Adobe integration. As long you have a valid subscription you are allowed to use the latest Adobe products. That imported and linked software models are correct.

Did you onboard the entitlements based on a PPN or manually?

Best, Dennis

Hi Dennis,
thanks for your reply
i have uploaded the entitlement via import template, and we have already checked prior upload that we dont have the Incopy edition that is "Edition 4", so we have used Custom PPN in upload created for "Adobe Incopy CC Edition 4". However, now i have updated the PPN with system created PPN, which is nearest one Adobe Incopy CC and edition is "Anything", still we are not getting the consumption.

i have added the screenshot of two models, CC which is created by me and Pro was system generated without any entitlment, showing only 20 unlicensed subscription, which we would like to see in our software model as system generated does have the entitlement. Please guide with best approach so that we can get the consumption. Thank you

The 'Pro' entry is the default value that is provided within the Adobe software.  You have created entitlement under the CC version so you have two line entries.

Rather than try to force the OOB values to link to the CC entry I would suggest you amend the discovery model so it links the discovery for PRO to point at the CC software model.  Or you could remove the part number, delete the entitlement, create new entitlement using the PRO details using just the name version and edition.  Give these a try and see what happens.
