Hello ServiceNow Community,
we are currently reviewing the AI Control Tower licensing model and came across the table sn_ai_governance_ai_inventory_usage.
Could someone help clarify the meaning and calculation of the following fields?
- Billing Count
- Inventory Count
- Licensable Count
In our instance, these values sometimes differ significantly. For example:
Metric Value| Billing Count | 61 |
| Inventory Count | 1 |
| Licensable Count | 1 |
We would appreciate clarification on the following questions:
- How are these three values defined and calculated?
- Our understanding is that only Managed AI Assets affect licensing, while Unmanaged AI Assets do not consume Subscription Units. Is this correct?
- Under which circumstances can the Billing Count be higher than the Inventory Count and Licensable Count?
- Is Billing Count the metric used for Subscription Unit consumption and licensing compliance?
- Is there any official documentation explaining this table and its underlying calculation logic?
Any insights, documentation references, or real-world examples would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!
