Hello forum,
We're planning to create a way for agents to assign licenses in a user-friendly way, without having to access tables directly - something like a portal/form/somewhere where they can go and pick the name of the user/device, entitlement and license to assign, and the click a button to confirm that the allocation has been created. The licenses to assign will be mostly records saved in the samp_sw_license_key table.
I thought that a Playbook would be the best approach, but maybe there's already an OooB function in SN that lets you do that - or how should I approach this? We're still in the planning phase, so I am open to re-think this. Thanks in advance!

Hi @G4P3,
SAMP does not provide any ootb functions for this use case. I would recommend a catalog item (REQ/RITM).
Less effort compared to the playbook; the agent does not have to switch to the SAMP workspace; potentially better integration into existing software request processes.
Best, Dennis
