Hi everyone,
My company is using SAM Pro and integrating with a third‑party platform to collect EUC data (laptops, software installations). This platform also provides execution duration for software, which we want to use as software‑usage data in ServiceNow. However, the platform only stores 30 days of data, and each day contains up to 200k records (around 1 million per week). Importing this volume is creating performance challenges.
I’d like to ask for advice from anyone who has experience pulling this type of data from a third‑party platform:
Do we need to import all operational data as software‑usage data for SAM Pro to work correctly for customers?
If the platform only keeps 30 days of data, how can we support reclamation rules that require 60 or 90 days of usage history?
What approaches can help avoid performance issues when importing millions of records?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

Does that 3rd party data source track the last usage date for software installations?
